Tom Wolfe, one of 2009's hottest porn stars and the other half of Chad Manning recently agreed to be interviewed by Neon. It's my pleasure to share this masculine gods answers below.

Neon - What was your first porn shoot experience like?

Tom - Well I suppose looking back if I were to base the rest of my career off of that first shoot, I would not have continued.

I was nervous as hell, completely horned up and wanting to blow a huge hot load everywhere. For some reason it just wasn’t working. The lights made it hot, the camera guys were not painting the right mental picture for me and drowned out the porn that I was watching.

Granted it was a solo scene and solos always take extra time for me, because I crave the touch of someone else. Luckily, a good friend of mine, JWJ Photography kept pushing me forward. So to sum it up, it was 4 hours of hell.

Neon - Was it an easy decision to get into porn?

Tom - As Chad says my famous answer for everything, Yes and No. Yes, it was easy to make the decision in my head that I wanted and always wanted to model, but no, because I was afraid of what others would think of me.

I grew up in a rural farming community I had already been criticized about being in calendar, print, and poster modeling. Then one day it snapped, kind of like that old cartoon Lambert the sheepish lion and I said to myself, “Fuck it, it’s my life, I’ve been successful in many other endeavors, why not this one too? The people that love me love me unconditional no matter what!”

Neon - Did you meet your partner, fellow porn star Chad Manning on a film shoot or somewhere else?

Tom - We joke around saying that how we meet was kind of a fairy tale story. So here goes. I was going to work with John Bruno at Massive Studios. John and I had been making the arrangements and he sent me a list of scene partners to choose from. Chad was the first hot stud I chose.

I was so excited about getting to work with him, I had showed two of my closest friends his pics, they immediately agreed with my choice. John Bruno was working his ass off trying to schedule him. To my dismay he was unavailable not once but twice.

The first time John informed me he wasn’t my scene partner, I told John he better make damn sure that he books Chad and I together, someday sometime, because I want to work with him!! I was drawn to him in a way that I could not explain. Finally, the third time is the charm and it worked out. I was on a plane to LA to film with Chad Manning, “I thought holy shit, finally I cannot wait.”

As soon as the pilot announced our descent into LAX I instantly was turned on and found myself sporting a huge hardon. I call John and inform him of the Wolfe’s arrival, lol, as I maneuver my way to the curb where John and Chad pick me up. I was so nervous with him setting in front of me, I reached up a time or two and touched him.

He seemed to jump and he was very quiet. I thought I think he is more nervous than I am and I continued conversing with John some more. We went to the studio, filmed then retired to John’s place as he finished some work for a while. Chad and I relaxed on the couch and eventually fell asleep in each other’s arms. He had the softest touch, the silkiest lips and a little bit of a slick lubed up feeling from the shoot, but I knew at that moment he was very special.

That moment on the couch with Chad is etched into my mind as my most favorite moment. I felt so comfortable, at peace, relaxed and even though at that moment I did not want to admit it, in love. We continued to talk to each other and finally decided that he was going to come to my place and visit. At this point we both have broken several rules that we made for ourselves to follow and not repeat our mistakes of past relationships.

Looking back from today, those were some excellent decisions to make at that time. I am just as madly in love with him today as I was that evening on John Bruno’s couch in LA.

Neon - How much will you two be working together on projects or will you keep that separate from your relationship?

Tom - As far as I am concerned, I will be by his side no matter what. Whether we are scheduled to work together or not, we support each other and who we each film with. In regards to working together, I think that is wonderful and would do it any chance I have.

We are currently working on a joint venture together so, I suppose that we will be working together more and more, both on and off the camera.

Neon - You have a very rugged, handsome and masculine aura about you, do you fit into this or are you a big softie?

Tom - Well I am a country boy, old fashioned and a little rough around the edges. Chad says I am a big softie but I’m not so sure I fit that category.

I can say that I do not have sympathy for anyone, if you do not try you only have yourself to blame. My friends here in the city are always telling me that ‘I am sooo country’ which I take as a compliment.

I find myself chuckling at how people word things, because it seems sugar coated to me, unlike the atmosphere which I grew up in on the farm. So I suppose I will leave that up you to decide, because I’m just me, no more no less.

Neon - What has been a highlight so far in the porn biz?

Tom - Well of course the obvious, meeting Chad and becoming lovers. However, besides that I would have to say working with John Bruno and Massive Studio.

I respect John as a producer/director and a friend. He has always made my experiences wonderful and worthwhile, as well as introducing me to some amazing people. Thank you John!

Neon - What projects do you have upcoming?

Tom - After many conversations and thoughts, Chad and I have decided to start a new endeavor. An internet site called WOLFERECRUITS. WOLFERECRUITS will be a new style, a new look for the modern masculine man’s sexual needs.

It is our goal to revolutionize the adult entertainment world by introducing a fresh new style, but also set the standards for the up and coming climax.

Neon - Where do you want the porn thing to take you?

Hayden - At first, it was all about 'It would be so cool to make a career out of fucking hot guys and traveling and meeting different people and living that lifestyle.' But, as I've learned more and more about it, I've developed an intense passion for it.

And I want to bring that passion to the business, as opposed to just needing some money to pay for school or go buy Abercrombie clothes. I definitely have long-term goals as far as porn.

Neon - Have you been actively looking to get signed, have you come across any issues in becoming a porn star?

Hayden - I actually signed with an agent, Baileey Productions, earlier this year, so if anyone wants to book me, that's who they can contact. I haven't talked to anyone from there for a little while, but I'm sure they'll take care of it.

There have been plenty of issues with getting started in the business. I've been in contact with a few companies already and I've heard everything from "You need to get more muscular" to "We're not working with non-local models" and, of course, like any business, I've dealt with some shady characters.

Right now, I think the big problem seems to be the economy. Companies can't really spend the money to fly an inexperienced model out for shoots, because there's no guarantee he'll be able to perform, which is understandable. But, hopefully that will change soon.

Neon - How do you market yourself to potential porn employers, what's the process in finding work?

Hayden - I've spent a few years doing online applications, sending out pictures to different companies, banging on doors, probably annoying alot of people.

Obviously, that's not the goal, but for a while, it was all I knew to do. I don't live in Los Angeles or Florida, so it's not as easy, I guess.

There was a brief period where I was doing webcam shows for a certain producer's websites, which I found to be extremely boring. There's only so much you can do in front of a webcam in your bedroom. I wanted to expand and do bigger things, which is what I'm working on now.

Recently, I met with Jason Sparks about shooting for his site, which didn't work out -- but he's an extremely cool guy and maybe that'll happen one day.

At this point, I'm just focusing on my look and getting more defined/toned.

Neon - Do you have any dream co-stars?

Hayden - Oh, there are a few! I'm a huge fan of gay porn, so I'm aware of most of the guys and of course I have favorites. But the #1 guy I would like to work with is Nick Piston -- but I don't think he's doing movies anymore.

I hate when people ask me what my "type" is, but if I had one, he's exactly it. Not only is he beautiful, but he's into some of the same stuff sexually that I'm into, so IF that ever were to happen, it would be chaotic and nasty and amazing!!

Neon - Are you a total bottom or can you give as good as you take?

Hayden - I've never topped anyone, so I can't say that I'm a TOTAL bottom.

Interview with Kris Anthony

Kris Anthony has had a diverse career thus far. From Falcon to kinky leather and bareback, Kris has bottomed for it all.

I recently conducted this wonderful interview with him and am pleased to share it with you all.

Neon - What made you decide to do porn, its a great career but how did you get started?

Kris - Ever since I knew what porn was I knew that that was what I wanted to do.

I've always been an exhibitionist and the idea of being in front of the camera really appealed to me. At first I was sort of a porn groupie.

I would attend porn events and fuck lots of porn stars, but I really wanted to do it myself. I waited until I was at a place in my life where I was secure enough mentally and was happy with myself physically to actually get my start.

I actually just answered an ad in the paper seeking models and it took off from there. I was working for the major companies very soon after I started.

Neon - What was the first film you made and how nervous were you?

Kris - The first film I did was called "He Swallows Part 2" and it was for a lower budget company.

Copies of it are still floating around out there if anyone can find it. I was honestly not the least bit nervous at all. I was so anxious and ready to get on camera that my excitement cancelled out any nervousness I would have had.

Neon - What do you do in your private life? By that I mean work/play/hobbies and interests?

Kris - Remember how I mentioned before that I started as a porn groupie?

Well, these days I'm a real groupie. I love music and I love seeing bands live. But I'm not satisfied with just going to a show and going home. I have to meet ( and sometimes fuck) the band! Hahahahaha! I take inspiration from Pamela DesBarres, the ultimate groupie. Have you ever read her books? I highly recommend them--'I'm With the Band' and 'Let's Spend the Night Together.'

Neon - Who has been a highlight to work with so far?

Kris - Well, I have done several scenes with Park Wiley who I absolutely adore. We get along well amazingly on camera and we're actually friends off-screen as well.

I also really loved meeting and working with Jason Crew, who is mt best friend in the industry. We did a movie for Mustang called 'Bang Bang!' which was the sequel to 'Bang!' I thought that was pretty clever, eh?

On that same shoot I got to work with Shane Rollins who is my ultimate dream man, and Jacob Slader who is amazing!

Neon - You've been to Australia, what did you think of it?

Kris - I LOVE AUSTRALIA!!! I love Australians.

You guys are the fucking coolest people in the world! I travelled there in 2006 to see Kylie Minogue on her 'Showgirl Homecoming' tour and spent Thanksgiving there with my mother. Australia is the most beautiful place I have ever seen.

I have lived in LA my entire life but if I were ever to move anywhere it would be Sydney. I am actually coming back next year for Mardi Gras which I hear is total debauchery!

Ooh and I'm so excited Kylie is coming to America this fall for the first time ever in her 20+ year career! I'm going to see her in Vegas then here in LA at the Hollywood Bowl which is a fantastic venue.

Neon - What's next for Kris?

Kris - I just completed a film for Pacific Sun for which I also received my first Associate Producer credit. The working title is 'Happy Birthday Gangbang' but that could change. I have also been working for the past year with the author Clive Barker ('Hellraiser') on his new book of erotic male nudes which is going to be unbelievable. That man is a genius.

Neon - What was it like growing up gay for you?

Kris - Fortunately I had an extremely supportive family and went to a very small private school where it was never even an issue.

I never really had to come out, I just always was! It hurts me when I hear about kids getting kicked out by their parents or bullied at school or even killed for being gay.

I think we've come a long way but we still have a LONG way to go until gays are totally accepted everywhere.

Neon - Do your friends and family know of your wonderful career?

Kris - Well, my friends and co-workers all know and my family sort-of knows. I told my Mom and Dad that I was doing some 'nude modeling' but didn't say it was hardcore XXX films.

They were both cool with that, like I said I have extremely supportive parents. But I think my Mom knows exactly what I'm doing because she clocked me once.

We were talking about Jason Crew, who my whole family knows and loves. We've even spent Christmases together. Well, my Mom says to me 'Oh yeah, and he does porn like you do, right?'
